Norman Krieger performs customs entry for the Holocaust era rail car 4/3/2012
Norman Krieger was part of a very special program to assist in importing a rail car used to transport Holocaust victims to death camps during the Nazi era. The car was imported from Macedonia to the Holocaust & Tolerance Museum being developed in Chandler, Arizona. The rail car will be the centerpiece of the museum, which will promote acceptance, social action and respect using lessons from the Holocaust.
Ernie Stein, the vice-president of Imports from Norman Krieger Inc., was present at the time rail car arrived at the Port of Long Beach - "I am glad we could be part on this historical moment for future generation and the Jewish community".
