Located in the Imperial County of California, Calexico is a city on the international border with Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico. It has a population of 41,000 and is located about 120 miles East of San Diego and 62 miles West of Yuma, Arizona.
Our team in Calexico manage a 50,000 sq.ft warehouse at this location offering. We are able to:
- Receive partial shipments for Mexican factories and facilitate the aggregation of parts for single shipments across the border
- Our facility also serves as an inspection point for Mexican brokers on their South bound shipments
- An added value service includes, providing North bound services where combined loads from Mexico are crossed under one entry and then broken down into component shipments for different clients
- Our Calexico warehouse offers a food grade facility and also operate some reprocessing of orders North bound
- Provide real time inventory updates through its’ virtual warehousing management system (WMS)
- Our Calexico facility also has a truck yard which offers sign in and sign out inspections to avoid costly carrier claims
