Pacific Maritime Association and Longshore Union Reach New Tentative Agreement for a Six-Year Contract

After thirteen long months of tense negotiations, the Pacific Maritime Association (PMA) and International Longshore and Warehouse Union (ILWU) have reached a tentative agreement for a new six-year contract. This tentative agreement covers all 29 ports along the US West Coast. The tentative agreement remains subject to a ratification vote by union members.
