Pension Strikes and Protests Continue to Impact Supply Chain in France

France continues to experience ongoing strikes as workers protest against proposed changes to the pension system. These strikes have impacted a variety of sectors, including transportation, with a significant disruption to the country’s ports for import and export operations. A source tells KRIEGER Worldwide, “Strikes in all the country, ports closed three days a week, train activity on slow motion…” Reports indicate the strike will continue until March 20th and “France’s CGT union said it will have a national assembly on 16 March, when the direction of the strikes will be discussed and votes taken.”
